Plugged in not charging surface pro windows 10

Hi,

I know this topic has been covered but this scenario is a little different.

Basically my surface windows 10 says plugged in not charging. But suddenly changes to charging and back to not charging does that all the time.

I replaced the charger. The old charger ide have to clip it on and off until the surface recognized it.
The new one is recognized but stuck at not charging.

I've done basicly all tricks on the net.




When the device is off its charging.

Should I go back to win 8 or fresh install?

What version of the Surface Pro is this btw?

I hope someone can shed some light on this, as my unit seems to do exactly the same thing. I am using a SP4 with I7 and has been like this since day one.
The first unit I bought was doing this and so I sent it back to the retailer as thought it was faulty.
I then bought another direct from Microsoft and I get exactly the same problems. Like yourself I have tried all the so called solutions on the net and nothing has worked. Have spoken to MS on numerous occasions and they seem to be clutching at straws and don't want to admit there are serious problems with their flagship devices.
I am starting to seriously regret purchasing this equipment due to a basic glitch and having second thoughts that I should have bought a unit with a fruit label on the front.

Hi! Mine is fixed. Simply but it was the charger.
I did everything humanly possible. I suggest go buy some cheap Chinese charger and test it.
SImple as that.
