Hi, im having a major problem with Battlefield 4 in that my fps is suddenly dropping causing the game to become unresponsive for a second or so, it makes the game completely unplayable

I dont know whats causing it, my system is more than capable of playing bf4 at high settings and i could run bf3 smooth as butter, but this issue is really annoying and i need to get it fixed people are saing its a vram issue but even if i put my settings on all low the issue is still there, ive unparked cores, tweaked settings in console but it wont go away..

If we don't know what you have, how can we help you? Let us know what you are using (cpu, graphics card, ram...etc) and we will try our best to help you.

Try what I did, this fixed it for me!

1.Delete all desktop shortcuts for BF4.
2. Open origin and go to my games.
3. Right click BF4 and go to game properties.
4. Change when launching this game drop-down from x64 to x86.
5. Apply these changes and run the game.

This runs the game in 32 bit, there will be no difference in performance. Fixed all issues for me. Let me know how you get on.

For some reason the x64 version of battlefield 4 is really unstable compared to x86. Also try updating your gpu driver to the latest?
