Are they suitable components?

Solution
Motherboard does play a role, but mainly in overclocking and in ports. You should be fine with a ~$100 MB. Your GPU selections range from low mid range to high end which is quite broad a range, you should narrow it to a certain area. Since you are not OCing then don't get the 3570k. Get the non-k model or the i7. For your workload though you don't need such a high end CPU. Get yourself an FX-6300 and and this MB(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157262). This will save you lots of money and make it possible for you to upgrade your CPU in the future should you want to. The intel is good though if money doesn't matter too much!

They are suitable, however I would recommend going with ivy bridge if you go Intel. Go with the i5-3570. It will be about as fast as the haswell yet cost less. I would still recommend AMD at that price because new games will be optimized for many cores. It will also save you money. But the Intel is certainly very competent.
