[SOLVED] Plz Help RGB issues... ☹️

So after hours and hours and hours of scouring the web all day i am just at the end and waving the white flag, i need help...

im trying to find a cable that goes from the barrowch boxfish reservoir to the header 1 on the top right of my rampage vi extreme board to tie it in.. and im having a helluva time finding any information on this

the barrow is a 3 pin connector

The barrowch I'm certain is 5v 3 pin addressable, the header on the top right of your board is a 4 pin 12v 5050 header.

These 2 technologies are completely incompatible.

Is the port on the barrowfish a 4 pin port but with only 3 pins connected

As in 1/1/0/1

Or is it a straight 3 pin

To add, your board has an addressable header board bottom right next to cha_fan 3 but it's Asus own 2+1 pin standard in a 4 pin block. So it's doable but just need to ascertain the connector on the barrowch itself.

The boxfish is a d-rgb 3 pin female end connector
Which is why im not sure if its the normal
5v, D,_,ground setup and i could just make a plug for it or not

With absolute certainty it is the regular 5v/d/g because that's all a 3 pin can be.

You just need to ascertain whjich outside pins are which (although in theory it makes no odds as those outside pins just complete a 5v circuit)

Did you not get a 3 pin to 3 pin cable with the block?

I'm almost certain that Asus boards should come with a 2+1 to 3 pin adapter block in the box when you buy them.

Arguably Asus connector makes more sense simply because that dead pin gives a key so you can't plug the cable in wrong.

There is very little real information or schematics on barrowch products.
