Hi,
My PC specs:
i7 4930k
Asus Sabertooth X79
Asus GTX 1070 8GB
HyperX Fury 1866 32GB 4x8GB
Samsung 850 Pro SSD 256GB (Window 10)
WD Black Edition 2TB HDD (For Footage Storage)
Coolermaster V750 Gold

I use Adobe Premire Pro CC for Editing, Resolve for CC and After Effects VFX.

Wanna Upgrade 1070 to 3070 Founders Edition, Wanna Add 16GB RAM 2x8GB and Wanna use SSD 1TB or 2TB for footage storage instead of HDD

I have 2 questions.
  1. I know, 3070 is big upgrade( but can i use it in sabertooth X79 motherboard?)
  2. Does 16GB RAM and another SSD make big diff?
Currently use Sony 8Bit Footage for my work(4k@30fps and 1080P@100fps) output in 1080P

Planing to upgrade to Red Camera. So, thought shoud upgrade the RAM and Graphics card.

Suggestions Plz?

You are just about at that point where replacement makes more sense.

Even a Ryzen 3600 would out perform your CPU. Rather than investing in more DDR3 and another SATA SSD, might be time to look into DDR4 and NVMe storage. (Even slow dramless NVMe storage is going to be decent compared to SATA)

Consider a platform replacement and hold off on the GPU for now, they are hard to track down anyway.

Also some decent deals on 10th gen Intel CPUs, i7-10850k is $400 today.

Yes, you can plug a RTX3070 into your X79 board. Another option would be a used RTX2080Ti, same rough performance in all but ray tracing and you get 11GB VRAM.
