Solution
the GT 730 will be better but if you are willing to spend that amount of money either buy a older gen card gtx 650 new or buy a second hand card.
The performance almost doubles for an extra few dollars just look at some benchmarks. Just make sure your PSU can handle it, anything over 350W with a Nvidia card should be fine tho.

GTX 750ti SC $109.99 (even reduced)

GTX 750 $97 (reviews are not bad, but the brand is not that well known so be careful)

I have owned a PNY GT740 2GB edition and I was able to play assassins creed and farcry 3 with my i3-4330 and it was fine.
The difference is the Core clock, they both have the same amount of cuda cores and but I believe the 740 has a 128-bit memory interface, meaning it can push more data through but that wont matter because these cards are not powerful enough for you to see any true gain during gaming.

Shop around i'm sure you could get a GTX 650 or GTX 750 on ebay for around $50 or $60, just be careful, there are even used ones on Amazon in your price range if you want. and don't bother going for anything below a 50 series card, because for gaming there not that good.
