Question PM981 SSD

I found a deal for a samsung pm981 ssd, that was taken from a new laptop. It says it comes with win10 pre installed. Is this reliable and okay to be used with an MSI Gaming Plus Max mobo? Also, does this mean it comes with win10 activated or do you need a key?
