hey guys some noob questions here

ive checked some other threads here and i think i get it but just wanted to double check. so i have an asus z270 prime a mobo and a phanteks enthoo pro case. i have never had a case with a fan hub before though so its all a bit new. my mobo says that i have multiple pwm fan connectors on it so my question is this:

should i connect all my fans (case fans, additional fans and cpu fan) to the fan hub and then plug this into a pwm enabled slot on the mobo or should my cpu fan for example go into the cpu slot on the mobo and then my other fans into the fan header and then into chassis fan slot 1 for example which is also pwm enabled or does it not even make a difference.

also the sata power connector for the fan hub, does that plug into the PSU directly?

and final question: i have 2 case fans 1 front and rear and that came with the case, cpu fan and then 2 additional fans. where is the best place to house the additional fans for optimum air flow.

any help greatly appreciated

CPU fan into the fan header on the motherboard, you want the motherboards and CPU to control this fan directly.

All other fans can go on the fan hub, and then the fan hub itself into one of the chassis/system fan headers on your motherboard, yes plug its power cable in directly to an SATA power cable coming from your PSU.

2 fans at the front pushing air into the case, 1 at the rear exhaust, plus your CPU, hide the other fan in a cuboard somewhere out of site, you want positive pressure inside the case, so more air coming in than is going out.
