PNY CS900 120GB SSD slow speed issue.

It said on the box "up to 515MB/s seq. read and 490MB/s seq. write speeds" Here is my screenshot

If you have a computer that only has SATA 3.0Gb interfaces, then you are working as expected. Your screen shot is typical of a 3.0Gb SATA connection.
What motherboard do you have?

Its a laptop model is Asus G751JY

OK... This page -- https://www.asus.com/us/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-G751JY/specifications/ says that your laptop has an HM87 chipset. This Intel page -- https://ark.intel.com/products/75528/Intel-HM87-Chipset shows the specifics of the chipset. It says max of 6 SATA ports but only 4 SATA 6gb ports. So it is possible that you are just connected to a 3Gb SATA port.

How full is that SSD. 120GB SSDs are hard to keep free space on.

91 gigs free of 111Gb right now. I will change my SSD to another sata port and see if i get better writing/reading speeds.
