Just got a 980 ti when I installed it there were no problems display and everything was working but after a couple hours my PC shutdown and whenever I start it up everything would light up but there is no display. Please help. This is my third post about this.

Rig
Cpu- Intel i5 4th gen
Cooling- h55 corsair water cooling
Motherboard- Asus sabertooth z97 mark 1
Ram- (2x4) viper xtreme
Psu- Corsair ax 760
Gpu- PNY GTX 980 ti

Not sure, but do this:

Unplug the power from the back of the monitor for five seconds and then plug back in.
Unplug the power to the back of the computer. Then while the computer power is unplugged, hold the workstation's power button for ten seconds. Then let go of the power button, plug the computer's power back in, and turn it back on. The purpose of doing this is resetting the power supply. I just want to know if there is any change.

I did both suggestions and there is still no display I can use a hdmi and use the on board video card but when I check the devices the gpu isn't being recognized and I set my bios to put primary display to pcie and still no answer🙁

How exactly do I update my bios I did find out my version which is from may 2014 but how do I download them is there a .exe file or something?

OK so i updated my bios but still no display but when I use my old asus hd 7770 it works just fine I don't know what to do?
