PNY XLR8 or spend more money on something else?

I was able to pick up a PNY XLR8 16gb (2x8) DDR3 1600 kit for $100 AR.

Should I hold onto this or pick up a G Skill Sniper/RipjawsX DDR3 1600 8gb (2x4) set for $65? (Or any other set)

Reading mixed reviews about PNY memory and PNY warranty.

Uses: mild gaming (wow, ffxiv arr), htpc, very light video editing (1-2 videos in like 3-4 months)
