I am looking to build a Podcasting / You Tube Video Editing Computer. I really have little tech skills when it comes to this. I have done some research and created a list of hardware and software and wanted to hear others experiences and get advice if I was completely being an idiot on what I was building.

I am looking to spend around $1,500 - $1,750 I need something that will last.

Thanks for any and all advice

To start with it is just for Podcasting / You Tube. I am building it a little higher just in case so I don't have to upgrade later. I am looking to make something that will last for a few years before I need an overhaul. I can't go over $1,800 including software.

^ It's not a bad build but some parts are skimped on. 200R not ideal when it comes to airflow, EVGA G1 650w is below average quality, Kingston V300 SSD's are quite poor specs wise and don't last as long as other SSD's and an EVGA GTX 1070 when there is no gaming at all? Really? I don't see it.

Solution

Awesome I really appreciate your help with this.

the G1 was a mistake...i must have really overlooked it...i actually meant the G2...rectified anyway...thank u for noticing that...
the SSD is gud enuf as i my bro is using it for the last 9mnths now approx without any hassel and really gud loading spped...
and the gpu is provided more as a futureprof...since op never mentioned wat he might foray into in future and even if theres no heavy gpu processing required, it ll last him for another 5 yrs atleast...but this can always be tiered down to a 1060 or 460...
