Hey guys, I just started using Controller Companion from Steam and its mostly great. I'm just having this really obnoxious issue with it highlighting items and links that the mouse is NOWHERE near. So when I click on something that I actually want to open it will usually open both what the mouse is on, AND whatever the obnoxious selection rectangle is on. I've made a video so you can see whats going on. Anybody have a fix for this? I have also used Gopher and the issue still happens, so its more of a Win10 thing than anything. Also, it only does it on the Windows Start Menu, Settings, and Windows 10 Apps like Movie and Shows.

have a look at top pinned item here, seems it has problems with modern apps which all the things you mentioned are: https://steamcommunity.com/app/367670/discussions/0/

Check the pinned thread about this. Seems like there is some sketchy controller support in UWP apps. Since you can't disable it, both CC and the app recognize input thus doubling the signal. Not sure if there is a workaround that the developer could implement or if we have to wait for Microsoft or the app developers to either fully support controllers with proper UI or just disable the controller support.
