I was pretty much required to use Facebook for our sporting organization who have become so dependent on it that they could not function at all without it. I lasted three weeks; people's intelligence seems to plummet, language is almost unintelligible and the things people post on public forums is just plain scary. And this was supposed to be a professional organization... After that, deleted my account and will never venture near Facebook again.

That advertising is broken too. I was looking to buy a computer desk. I started getting hundreds of ads a day for everything from dishwashers to makeup and even men's hygiene products

How best to use Facebook?

Never.

Well there was that time my ex left her page open on my laptop while she was flirting with a coworker at home.

Seems like the poll miss out on some things:
* What privacy settings are used?
* "Changes", have they been to increase or decrease privacy?
* If no change, why? I've used near maximum privacy from the start and won't change it to decrease privacy.
