Looks like a beautiful case and with some love from a dremel I'm sure that cheiftec case can cool quite well with some 120mm instead of 80mm fans!

Its been considered, hehe. It will make a great server case though. Not so good for WCing, big PSUs and multiple video cards. My 8800GTX barely clears the drive cage as it is.

I actually have 3 of those cases in black, blue, silver. I really liked them, so I bought all of them within 6 months of each other, with the final one actually sitting around for 18 months before I built a PC in it. Looks kinda nifty with 3 of them sitting next to each other. Great space heater in the winter BTW, lol.

Who buys a case worth that much then takes a dremel to it? Im glad you guys have money to waste if you stuff it.

Chook, that's an old yesteryear case. ...still uses 80mm fans for everything. I had one (by Antec) back in 01' for a P4 1.8Ghz build. So long ago.

i personally voted Coolermaster as i am very very happy with my coolermaster, and i love the stacker cases, shame i not a fan of the cosmos. but what i really like is the affordablility of the cases asyou can pick a coolermaster up for cheap but if you want high end they have it.

Its been a good case, but I dont think my next build will fit into it. 1kw PSU, dual 4870X2's, and some water cooling. Silverstone TJ07 will likely be the candidate. Something along the lines of a murderbox but less sleeving.

You said it your self FrozenGpu. Most people don't want to spend the big bucks for some Lian Li cases, though they have a nice offering in just about every price range so your argument kind of fails there, but can you HONESTLY say Antec makes the BEST cases at those lower price ranges? I OWN and antec 900 and P182, I do NOT own a Lian Li though I have built a PC in 2 of them. I KNOW the difference, and it is something I want, that's why I recently purchased a Silverstone TJ07 which has similar quality to Lian Li. The problem is that before I ever buy another Antec I have to look at other choices as well and to be honest, Antec is not even top dog in it's respective niche. I still love how screws in the hard drive cages of my 900 that hold the bay covers on are cross threaded and almost impossible to get out even with a power tool. That is an example of what Lian Li does not do. I also love how I got tired of the terrible scratch ridden acrylic window my 900 came with and so I made another my self, that does NOT get scratches at all, and the kit costs me around $30 with shipping. The problem is that most of the people who voted for Antec only own Antec. Now it is fine to say that yours is great, but never to say yours is the best because I totally 100% guarantee that if those Antec owners tried out other cases they would understand that while Antec makes great cases, but they do not even come CLOSE to the best. The only way to make a true comparison is to go by the best quality cases, and since Lian Li makes cases from $100+ that are of great quality I am going to have to say they are the winners. Look at the score Lian Li and Antec are the only companies with any real leads, and you must admit atleast that half those votes are by people who never have had the pleasure of working in any other case except a 900.

I understand what you are saying, it's just that Lian-li has a pretty huge price premium for their nicer full-tower cases, so when people go to buy, they will get discouraged b/c even though the lain-li will have all these really nice options, and workmanship, etc etc etc, it will never truly gain the acceptance of the following as Antec has, b/c antec was able to capture the mainstream and high end market share much much better than lain-li was able to. Price is pretty important when it ultimately comes down to it, for most people, so you know Lain-li's are amazing, but I always ended up selling my builds that i used them in, just b/c I always felt salty over how much I paid, and for some reason I'd keep antec cases much more longer than the original builds just b/c I felt that w/ many of them I got an amazing deal for the functionality that I needed. The only case from Antec that I'd love to get my hands on and try out at this point is that monstrous P190, it's just so big, and I;d love to use something like that one of these days, but that price is pretty high, and at that price it is in lian-li territory to say the least, and I would heavily consider a Lian-li or a silverstone when I get to that point once again.
