Hello everyone, I'm having a strange problem here. I'm experiencing v poor 3D rendering performance with my system, and i have no idea why!

My system:

p4 2.8C
Asus p4p800 Bios V1007
Zalman Cu7000 Fan / Heatsink
2 x 512MB Kingston Winbond CH-5 DDR400 Ram
Hercules Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB Catalyst 3.4
Audigy 2
Sony DVD
Samsung CDRW

When i run UT2003 v2225 benchmark with the following settings

..\System\ut2003 dm-antalus?spectatoronly=true?numbots=12?quickstart=true?attractcam=true -benchmark -seconds=77 -exec=..\Benchmark\Stuff\botmatchexec.txt %1 -ini=..\\Benchmark\\Stuff\\MaxDetail.ini -userini=..\\Benchmark\\Stuff\\MaxDetailUser.ini -nosound

Basically the default settings with the last 2 lines added in, I get very low frame rates
Flyby - 201 FPS
botmatch - 67 fps

For dm- antalus - flyby is only 161 fps!

Could someone pls help?
My v-sync s OFF
AA / AF set to application pref

Thanks a lot!

Very low?
I think you got a very good system, and that's about what you should get
from THG's benchmark, you are getting right score, cuz UT2003 runs somehow better on AMD cpu.
I would say nth to worry about
btw, what's your 3Dmark score? 2001 or 03?

Oh sorry, guess i left out on one detail. those UT2003 FPS scores were for 1024 x 768

AS for 3DMark can i just use the version i download over the net?

There are free versions of 3DMark2001SE and 3DMark03 at http://www.futuremark.com/. After you run the benchmark use the Online Result Browser to get your scores online. There will be a link on the page similar to this:
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=6713513
Your score should kill mine.

And it's all free.

well, I'm assuming you run by default, I still find it very good, look here: http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/20030306/radeon9800pro-11.html#unreal_tournament_2003
comparing it to your system, that's pretty good, don't you think so?
