Poor E7200 overclocking on new build

Hi all,

I have just built the following setup however I am having real problems with getting a stable clock at anything above the stock 266mhz fsb.

Mboard: Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L
GPU: Intel Core 2 E7200 / Box cooler
PSU: 450W Corsair VX
Memory: 4GB (2x2GB) Super Talent Twin DDR2 PC2-6400
Case: Coolermaster RC-330 V2 Elite
HDD: 400GB Hitachi
OS: Vista Home Premium SP1 64bit
GPU: Currently X1950pro 256mb, HD3850 512mb on the way.

Do you think this could be a dodgy mboard? Even with a slight overclock say at 316fsb, vista will still be very unstable, even with simple tasks such as browsing? This is with voltages set to auto.

Please list the voltages from Everest or HWMonitor, the memory divider and memory frequency.
The memory divider should be at 1:1

Please see screenshots below. Im not sure why HW monitor is showing the +12v as 0.9v though!?

it looks like all your voltages are in order, but why are your temps so high? whats the ambient temp there? Are you still using the stock cooler?
Set RAM latencies to AUTO or 800mhz speeds for now.

BTW don't worry about the +12v, mine shows 6v.

this all seems strange, i was able to set my fsb to 333mhz without changing voltages.

Well I decided to update the bios to the latest version, now it wont even post with anything above the standard 266fsb!?

I really think there may be an issue with the board.
