It is cool way to present the flight. I actually sat through it two times. And might fly the route at low levels just
for fun! I'm waiting for better weather though :)

Whew... I wasn't sure if this was lame or not when I posted it.

I was expecting "ZZZZZZzzzz" like my real slide shows 🙂

No...it's definately got potential. It's a very good way to show an entire
flight. Videos can get really big and not all of us know how to make them
correctly and then use FRAPS to turn them into AVIs.
I sure as hell don't.

Great slideshow, I enjoyed it!

Maybe somewhat off-topic but...
If you want to impress your FS-friends you could try and play with
Microsoft's Photostory (FREE!!!). Pretty easy to use, fast, and
professional looking results, once you get the hang of it. The program
itself is almost impossible to find at M$ website, so here's the link:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx

Cheers

You somehow knew I needed a link, but to Movie Maker 2.1, not photostory.

I have been trying to find the Movie Maker 2.1 download at Microsoft but
I swear they keep running me around in circles. I thought I'd try once
again to try to create a movie in FS9. They made me use IE but still I
couldn't find a link. Several pages had the big blue words "download
movie maker 2.1" but that just ran me to the updates page with no way
to download it.

Anyway to download it???? And Google is my friend. The pages Google
listed sent me to all sent me back to Micro pages.

damn!!!!! just tried to download photo story, but it's still a maze. 🙁

boB,

This little utility is FANTASTIC! Thank you so much for pointing it out. I
made a little film of our recent weekend with a friend in Cambridge within
five minutes of downloading it, with titles and music everything.
What a brilliant find!
Highly recommended, even for a pathetic old computer user like me...

Cool.. I've got a couple of friends down the street from you in Lighthouse
Point. I was making a virtual visit... they have a 38' Lagoon Cat. If I
owned a real Meridian I'd be visiting them all the time. 🙂

Hey Q, I can't find a way to email you on your web site. My excite
address above probably won't accept a file that large.

Today's wise words:
It's important for freeloaders to have a wide circle of friends... 🙂

Hi Marcel,

That's not strictly true, mate.

I own a Spitfire and a Mustang.

The only slight drawback is that they're 1/24 scale plastic models! 🙂

They're very economical, though....

Hmmm....I've tried a lot of things in my young life, but never freeloading.
But I *am* open for new adventures. <g>
