I just built a new pc (specs below)
It benchmarks just fine, good temps decent scores in both Firestrike (16,297) and timespy (7516)but it seems to be struggling in real world games.
Even older games such as diablo 3 I’m only getting 110 FPS sitting idle in town and it dips into the low 40-50s at times mid game. I can’t figure out why. This build should be crushing any and all games at 1080p much less diablo 3 something is off somewhere.
Also destiny 2 I get drops to the 40/50s at times. I was playing a beta for tropico 6 barely held 70fps steady not sure what’s up.
Ryzen 5 2600 @stock with stock cooler
MSI b450 tomahawk
Asus rog strix RTX 2060
16gb ddr4 Corsair vengeance RGB pro 3000mhz but using MSI amp @2933 in bios
650watt evga supernova g1+
It’s frustrating this pc should be crushing games at 1080p max settings 75fps. Which is my current refresh rate and resolution.
Any ideas or ways to diagnose this?
