Ever since I built my PC, I have been experiencing underwhelming performance in several games.

PC Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 1500x
GPU: ASUS GTX-1050Ti Expedition Series
RAM: 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000MHz
Mobo: MSI B350 PC MATE
(I can only get the memory to run at 2133MHz)

The games I mainly run are CS:GO and Fortnite, but sometimes other games like Rainbow 6 and PUBG. I run pretty much every game at absolute lowest settings.
In CSGO, It's rare for the FPS counter to go above 150 which seems odd to me as I know people with similar systems saying they get hundreds more than me.
I have tried every launch option that I know of, with no real difference in framerate. I am aware that this game doesn't handle multiple cores too well, but even this seems a bit low for running on maximum. I'm sick of playing the game with normally <90fps on my 144Hz monitor. When monitoring the CPU usage it only really goes up to about 50%, and even less for the GPU and memory.

In Fortnite I can barely get the game to go over 100 even in creative with no other players and not much textures to be rendered.

With most games that I play, I never see my CPU, GPU or RAM usage go anywhere near 100%. Maybe my system just can't handle these games efficiently, but I was expecting more performance for the hundreds I forked out for these parts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and am willing to try anything to get more performance from my PC.

Thanks

You need to get the memory running at the correct speed as that can have a big impact on performance. Make sure there in the correct slots then enable AXMP in the BIOS.

What PSU do you have?

Does the GPU have a 6-pin connection on top?

I have the sticks in the right slots and have even tried different combinations. I have gone through every speed in the AXMP settings and the only one i can get to work is 2133, anything else it doesn't post and I need to reset BIOS.
