Hi all, first time poster on this website.

I recently built my first PC, the CPU is a Ryzen 5 1600 and the GPU is an MSI rx 570 8gb.

I can average very high fps in most games and crush 60fps easily, but the display on my monitor isn't the greatest. When I first booted up my pc with windows, the wallpaper looked noticeably bad, pixelated and blurry. Before my PC, I played on nintendo switch and I could never see any problem with the display so i do not know why it looks bad. The resolution is 1920x1080p but wallpapers and in certain games or on the internet I can see this bad display. The monitor is an Asus VE248. Can anyone help? Thanks

Hmm, I wonder if maybe there's something wrong with the graphics card then. Are you able to plug the PC into a TV or another monitor to make sure?

Have you tried using a DVI cable instead of HDMI? I've noticed that some of these less expensive Asus monitors look pretty bad on HDMI with a PC, but look perfectly fine using VGA or DVI.

I tried using DVI as my PC does not have a VGA input, but I didnt see any difference unfortunately.
