Picked this up for $5.99. It still looks very good. But, I'm have a problem
right before getting th Dagger. I'm on a ledge facing the wall. There's
another ledge across from me that I'm supposed to jump to.
I can't seem to make the move to jump across. It says to "use movement
keys to face away" "then use the jump key". All I get is right or left face
and when I jump I got up not across. Anyone know what I need to do?Thanks

Can you run across the wall to it? I don't remember this part specifically.

Hey Knight,
Figured it out. You have to switch to first person view and swing the camera
angle to the direction you want to jump then hit the forward and jump
buttons at the same time. I suppose there's another way to do it,but I've
remapped most of the keys to my mouse 'cause I can't use the keybard and
mouse at the same time.
This game is pretty cool so far.The graphics are really good and the moves
are kinda unique.
But the control/camera is difficult for a one armed person to work with.
Still,I think I'll mange it.

That might present problems for you later on where you have to make
jumps quickly, in sequence, in different directions. Fortunately you are
rarely also engaging in combat or having to look around quickly at such
times.

You may be able to get away with not using the mouse for those bits and
just using the arrow keys and a nearby key for jump (right CTRL or
keypad 0). You'll need to be able to press the arrow for the direction
that you want to jump as you press jump and you don't have time (no pun
intended) to switch to first person and line up before making the jump.

So far I've had the time to do the fiest person thing. I only need to do it
when the mouse won't turn the camera angle. It's very inconsistent in this
game whether the mouse controls the camera or not.
Luckily, I have the Logitech MX510 mouse. It has eight buttons that can all
be mapped to keyboard keys. This game is one of the more awkward I've played
this way. I may not be able to finish it,but it only costs $5.99 so what the
hell? The purchase was actually an aftertought while I bought Painkiller
Gold at the same time.

Ive got a couple of console games - this and Silent Hill 3 that I havent
bothered to
play because of the controls so yesterday I forked out for a USB gamepad
that Im
trying now - it might make them more playable.

I'd still need two hands to use a gamepad I think.
