pop up align

I have a HP 1317 printer. I changed the ink cartridge and when I started
the printer I got message to re align, pressed ok, it printed of sheet, I
then scanned to align.
Every time I switch on PC i am having to go through the above
process....help

It sounds like you are NOT letting it complete the process.Follow the
instructions to the letter.I have had the same thing happen with a friends
HP 2100.
