Hi, I got a new router about a month ago and today I decided to start up my old Minecraft server again (it's a small private server, 1GB, just for a couple of friends)

On my old router (It was a Netgear, I'm pretty sure it was the N600 Dual Band Gigabit) the port forwarding went fine. I like this new ASUS router better than the Netgear, except for the fact that the port forwarding just WILL NOT work. I've gone into the 192.168.1.1 > Advanced Settings > WAN > Virtual Server/Port Forwarding and then added the following:

Service Name: Minecraft
Port Range: 25565
Local IP: [My IPv4 address(es), I will tell you more in a second]
Local Port: 25565
Protocol: TCP

Which I believe should all be correct. When I go into cmd and type ipconfig, I have 2 IPv4 addresses? I have "Wireless LAN Adapter Wi-Fi 2" and "Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection." I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to use the first one, and I've tried both for the Local IP. It adds it to the forwarded ports list, and everything looks good to go. I can join the server fine but none of my friends can and port checking websites all say it's closed. I've tried everything from restarting the router to turning off my firewall. I don't know what isn't working, but someone please help!

- Is UPnP enabled?
- Did you add an UDP protocol too? You only mentioned TCP.
- Did you manually assign your Minecraft server a static IP address inside the router? Otherwise, DHCP will give it a new IP each time it reconnects to the network.
- I would turn on "Enable WAN Ping Respond" if you see that option. This allowed me to remote desktop into my computer and do tests from outside the network.

1 UPnP is enabled.
2 I only tried TCP because that's what everyone says to use for Minecraft.
3 No, how do I do that ?
