Question Port Forwarding minecraft server not working

I've been trying to fix a port forward for a minecraft server for over an hour now, but nothing is working. I have an ASUS router with the latest firmware, all the ports and local IP settings in the port forward are correct but still nothing is happening. I've tried disabling my firewalls on my PC, disabling DMZ on the router and im getting no results. I'm only connected to one router, and the asus gateway says nothing is wrong.

This might be the cause, my WAN ip being shown on the router is 192.168.1.2 (a local address) and my external IP is different and not local. Is there a fix for this?

You gotta be more specific:

Where is the server located?
From where are you trying to connect onto it?
You say you disabled the firewall on your PC, is this the server?
Your WAN ip cant be 192.168.1.2, also your external ip should be different and not local.

If you elaborate more exactly we might actually be able to help
