Port forwarding problem

I have two cards on my system, On is connected to my dsl router and the other one is connected to my laptop with a crossover cable.

I had setup port forwarding on for bit comet on my PC. which runs sucessfully.

But when I bridged the two LAN connections, port forwarding is working on my Pc but is not working on my laptop.

I have windows vista on my pc and windows Xp on my laptop.

Please advise....

you cant share the same port, give it a different port and set that in the router.
