My rig: bit.do/kanishkpc

Port forwarding stopped working suddenly. I don't know when it happened. I have a static IP address. On my router I set up an IP (192.168.201) for this PC and forwarded that IP to port 52390. I set up my ethernet connection on PC to use the same IP address. I don't know what happened to cause this issue.

I had installed Privado VPN recently and thought that maybe that caused the issue so I uninstalled it to no avail.

Also worth mentioning that the ipconfig/all on my PC ( View: https://imgur.com/a/Eyecn6z
) command returns fewer fields than shown in this guide for port-forwarding - View: https://imgur.com/a/KrE84XD

Maybe something on my side but all I get is blank windows on the images you linked.

What do you mean you have a "static" ip address. Do you mean you set the PC to a static IP or you have a static IP on your WAN port that the ISP is giving you.

Your WAN ip could have changed. Look in the wan settings and see if it is the public IP that you think it is. You want to compare this IP with sites like whatsmyip. They need to be the same IP address. If not you do not have a public IP being assigned to your router by the ISP and you need to contact them.

You could try to use the DMZ option in your router as a test. These tend to be less confusing to configure but they do open your machine to attack so in the long run you need to figure out the port forwarding.

The other very common reason that people have trouble with port forwarding it the program that is listening on the port is not actually active or it is having some issue. Check the pc to be sure there is a active connection on that port.

  1. I paid money to be assigned a static IP. I was wondering why I needed to assign an internal IP to my device if I have already purchased a static IP. I followed the steps of this guide: https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-port-forward-4163829
  2. WAN IP as opposed to LAN IP? What's the difference?
  3. I don't know what's DMZ.
  4. I use this on qBittorent.

TL;DR - I don't understand these things so I've attached all relevant images. The settings match what the guide told me to so I don't know why it stopped working.
