Port forwarding with powerline adapters.

In my home, it would be too much malarkey trying to fix permanent ethernet cabling. I am a big hater of WIFI. So I have some powerline adapters that do the job quite well. They are 'Simple Netwoks - Model Number: HP200PT64BT2'.
My router is a 'TalkTalk Huawei HG635'.
This router has a very strange way of port forwarding and i really dislike it. Instead of allowing the user to input an IP it automatically assigns a computer a name on the router which you use in port forwarding.
In the past i somehow managed to host a Minecraft Server for a few friends which worked fine. Since then I have attempted to set up a Mumble server, not luck, and also a Teamspeak server, also no luck. Something tells me there is something wrong with my setup and I really don't know what it is. Could the powerlines be causing this or is my dreadful router the problem?
I want to host another Minecraft server however it just doesn't seem to work. The port i want to use is 25565 and below is an image of what i have done on the router.

I have hosted many severs before and usually find all this stuff very simple. However since moving to this new home and with talktalk i have had nothing but trouble. If anyone could help me with this i would be so very happy. I'm running out of ideas.

PowerLine adapters have nothing to do with port forwarding, or IP addressing. Think of PowerLine as a very long Ethernet cable - nothing more, nothing less.

Most routers allow for configuring DHCP server in such a way that it assigns same IP address to a particular device, this might help with your port forwarding.
