[SOLVED] Port forwarding

Hey guys,

I need help with this router I have and I'm not sure how to fix it. I wanted to open a server for the game Conan Exiles, the problem is that I have no idea how to forward ports in my router. I have a wire going to my computer straight from the switch and I want my friend to connect on this server. I downloaded a dedicated server launcher and I just need to forward my ports now. I have pictures of what I'm getting when I log into the router but I'm not sure what any of the settings mean, I also removed some things from the picture because I do not know what I am not supposed to show. If there is some needed information I will do my best to get them. If this isn't the right place to post this please let me know and I will get rid of it right away.

Which model Huawei router?

The link's instructions should be similar for your Huawei router model if not identical.

Google for your Huawei router model just to be sure.

In addition, you may find it helpful to read more about port forwarding per se and the concepts involved.

Do not make any configuration changes or even start doing things until you have planned out what needs to be done.

Then work through the setup step by step and stop if something is not as expected.

Be methodical and keep notes in case you need to go back and redo/undo something.

Edited Note: Check Conan Exiles website. They may have additional instructions regarding port forwarding for the game.

Thank you very much for the help! The router you linked is exactly the same as the one I have. What I understood is that I need to open two ports to allow traffic to the server, and I need two ports opened that are UDP 7777 and 27015. The only thing I am not sure of is the port range and the external and internal ports because I only have those two numbers and not much else. I added a picture of the ports on the program to help.

Conan Exiles' website should provide some guidance with respect to the available settings and configuration options that you (as a host) can control.

May likewise prove additional insight and be helpful.

However, the first place to look for such details should be Conan Exiles' website.

Also, just as a suggestion, as you get things set up and working be sure to do some screen captures of the settings being used. Especially before making changes.

The captured screen information will be very helpful if a "do over" becomes necessary in the future.
