Question Portable CD-Radio issue

Just purchased a small portanle Bush CD/Radio player and there is no way to skip tracks on the CD and no tone control for the speakers. Is this the norm for this type of device? It never used to be

I have never seen a portable CD player that did not have forward and back skip buttons. I have never seen one with tone control.

You may want to list the exact model you got if you want to find out what it can or can't do. You can't really just in general say what a CD player can or can't do, there are a ton of different models. Skipping tracks is a normal function of any CD player I have seen though, but without knowing what you got, no way to see.
