Question Portable drive showing up in Device Mgr but not DISKPART

[Windows 10] My drive shows up in Device Manager, but NOT Disk Management or Diskpart (can't 'assign' a letter).

It also shows up in CrystalDiskInfo!

When I plug it in the light is on and it whirs, and Windows makes the chime but no dice accessing the drive.

Anything I can try? Thanks!

show up in crystaldiskinfo as?

check storage spaces in windows 10?

Shows up as a normal drive (serial number etc) but that's it.

I've since discovered it can be read fine on a Macbook. I ruled that out earlier because HFS explorer wasn't picking that up... will try figure out why but at least the data is safe!
