Portable HDMI panel screen?

I've been trying to look for a smallish screen so connect my PC to when I bring it out of the house. I haven't had any luck in finding anything useful, though. I was imagining a tablet-type screen, but I know that you can't use a tablet as a monitor as they don't take HDMI input.

There are a bunch of apps and programs which allow you to use a tablet as an extra PC display, either over USB or wifi, with vary degrees of success and speed. You don't say if you have an Android tablet or iPad so I can't give specifics, but they're not too hard to find.

Well if it were possible, then I'd be looking to turn an Android tablet into a primary screen. From what I've seen, that isn't possible, but if you have any suggestions then go ahead
