Hey,

Sorry if I'm asking a stupid question, but do you think it would be ok for a Mini (portable) PC to be carried along in bus trips (~4 hours each, say 8 times per month), or would that be a bad thing to do? I was wondering if such PC could become something like a laptop replacement (ignoring the monitor :) ).

Thank you!

The major unstable part in a desktop PC is the CPU cooler. The fancier it is, the more prone to get dislogged it is.
Eight times a month -- twice a week, way too often to take the cooler down before the trip, and mount it back after. Consider finding sage material to fill in the cavities of your computer so that no part is exposed to a stress.
