Question Portable Program Problems

I have been using a number of portable programs with Windows 11 for some time with no problem. About a month ago, Windows required me to do an update. Since then, I can not access any of them. I get the attached error message. I have reinstalled some of them, but no luck. Anyone know how can I fix this?

Are there updates for the specific programs themselves that you need to apply?

What are the specific programs?

Sorry for the delay. I use a ton of potable programs. Most are the latest versions. None of them are working since the update.

Sure, roll back to 23H2 which is still supported until November 11, 2025. Or even Windows 10 until October 14, 2025.

There have been complaints about this since Win 11 24H2 rolled out half a year ago in October and it hasn't been fixed yet, so may never be.

Hopefully by the time 25H2 or Windows 12 rolls out, virtual machine component will work again.
