I would like to build a small portable workstation that can also play a few games. Mostly mobas, nothing to hardcore and only at 1080p at most. It would be a bonus if it could play 4k movies via HDMI with no problems. Another bonus would be that it could act as a mini-Plex server when needed.

This is the build I have so far.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I would recommend an i3 6100. The pentiums will choke with any kind of multitasking. Don't need that cooler either. Also, for skylake, I would go with DDR4 based system. Sandisk Ultra II is better than OCZ. You have the budget for 16gb ram even, and that will give you proper dual channel.

Thanks, any reason to go up on the GPU? If i only need 1080p gaming, and maybe 4K movie playback?
