Ports (COM & LPT) Code 34

Hello,

Help! I have an exclamation Point on my Ports (COM & LPT) with a Code 34 and the following comment "Windows cannot determine the settings for this device. Consult the documentation that came with this device and use the Resource tab to set the configuration." How can Iget it fixed or reloaded? I believe I accidently remove the software today. Incidently I use my USB for my Majic Jack telephone, needless to say it's not connecting.

Right click and uninstall them. Windows should gather them again when you reboot.

It all depends on what you did when you "accidently remove the software today."

If you don't know what you removed, it could be a real problem. For now you have a possible fix in performing a system restore point rollback. It may not include what you deleted, but it's a chance to make things right again.

Start>Help and Support>Pick a Task, "Undo changes to your computer with System Restore"

Choose a day on the appearing calendar that has bold numbers and do the rollback by following instructions on the screen.
