Ports Not Working

Hi guys, i got a pc here at the store, When on windows usb ports (i can use them on Mobo Setup) and ethernet port doesnt work. Device manager is blank. Dont know if there is a relation, but MOBO cant hold CMOS settings, and changing the battery doesnt seem to work. Any ideas? sorry for bad english.
PS: Its Windows XP.

If your USB ports aren't working in the front, then it is most likely that they aren't hooked up on the motherboard correctly, or not at all. As for the wireless, one solution around your problem could be getting a wireless card. But, with your problem, I would try going back to a restore point to before you started having these problems and see if it fixes it.
