I picked up the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv mATX, which has a 200mm intake fan. Unfortunately this large fan sounds like a noisy hard drive during operation and it's replacement suffers from the same issue. I am looking to swap it out for 2x 140mm on the front as intake with my Noctua NH-U12s pushing air as shown below:
My motherboard Z170M-Plus only supports 2 case fans and the fan hub that comes with it has bricked some reviewers motherboards, so am reluctant to use it. I'm inclined to think that airflow will still partially flow front to back and out the exposed case holes due to the Noctua fan placement (acting like an exhaust) but expect air to move up out the case as well. Thought I'd gather other opinions on the scenario though.
Notable other mentions in case:
I7-6700K
MSI RX 480 8GB
SSD
