Question Possible alternative to speedfan

Hi all,

I recently bought a small PCB that allows you to have multiple fans, i have mine connected to the system fan header. It draws extra power from a SATA power connector. Reason being i had a powerful system fan from an old rig i wanted to install to increase airflow as my case is mini ATX and it gets a bit stuffy in there. I use speedfan to control temps when doing intensive tasks, but since i installed the PCB and the new fan its not detecting system fans at all, although both fans are spinning, i'm not sure why this is, as the PCB is connected to the header for the system fan, therefore surely it should still recognise that something is connected. Was hoping someone could provide a solution to this conundrum

What kinda of PCB? You should just use a fan splitter. No way to control fans connected through sata

It only draws power from the sata, it connects to the fan header and has multiple headers itself for connecting fans to
