Possible AM3+ problem?

Is my graphics card Asus GTX670-DC20G-980MHZ Core compatiable with motherboard BIOSTAR TA970 AM3+ AMD970
This was a recommended pairing however the Graphics card gets power but their is no display at all.

Is the monitor cable connected to the graphics card (not the motherboard)?
Are the PCI-E power cables connected to the graphics card?

If you are not seeing any output as the computer starts, it can't be a Windows problem.
Check that the right monitor input is selected.
Try a different monitor cable.
Have you ever used this monitor and cable with another computer?
