[SOLVED] Possible bottleneck? Don’t know where.

I originally had a Radeon rx 5500 xt paired with a ryzen 3600, but my gpu averaged around 60 percent usage during games while my cpu only used around 19%. So I figured something was up and I upgraded my gpu to 2080 ti. I’m still having the same issue though. What could be the issue, if any?

I'm thinking it may be a RAM speed issue or single-channel RAM problem.

Hm someone else will have to chime in, I don't see an obvious source of bottleneck.

What software did you use to see the GPU usage? Monitor resolution? I also don't see an obvious bottleneck here.

What game was that specifically? Some are written badly and cannot even utilize new hardware. Or your resolution (or details) is simply too low for that powerful GPU (especially if the game is old), or you have vsync on which limits GPU usage...

I use nzxt cam for monitoring and 1960x1080 is the resolution. I also don’t use full screen for gaming, I use windowed fullscreen cause I’m using two monitors.

I mainly play destiny 2 on 1960x1080. I’ll check on the v-sync though.

Definately check it, when I play FH4 on high at 60 fps v-sync my RX 570 is staying at around 70% usage.
