Possible Component Frying?

So i built a new rig yesterday and accidentally used cables that were not supported for my PSU. As a result my system obviously did not turn on. Is there any possibility that any of my parts could have been fried in the process of turning it on?

PSA. I never actually got into boot so non of the components actually turned on, they only received power

You honestly won't know till you try to boot the system with the right PSU in place. Yes there is a small chance of damaging components.
