Hello guys! I would like to address an issue I am currently having with my new PC build. Just to let you all know I am new to PC building, and you might say this was a silly mistake on my end.

Now, to get to the problem. My problem is that I am unable to boot up my PC to the BIOS menu. When I start up the PC, I am not receiving any start-up beeps to signal something wrong with the system and everything seems to be running smoothly (fans are all running, lights are all on, etc.).

I am using my HDTV as a monitor at the moment, and am running a HDMI cable between my tower and the TV. However, I am unable to receive a signal on my TV. I have tried 2 other HDTV's and have had no success either and have also tried a VGA cable, with no luck. Due to this I am also unable to download my OS (Windows 8) onto the PC.

Once I couldn't receive a signal, I decided to open up the tower to look at my parts to see if something wasn't connected properly. After finding nothing wrong with the wiring, I decided to look at the MOBO and CPU. I took out the CPU and when I looked at it, I did notice some bent pins on the CPU, in which I bent back in place without breaking any of them and replaced it into the MOBO. I was still unable to receive a signal to the TV after this.

These are my current parts:

CPU - AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor
MOBO - Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard
RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
HDD - Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
GFX - EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB Superclocked Video Card
PSU - EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply
Case - Thermaltake VL80001W2Z ATX Mid Tower Case

I would really like to know if you have any other suggestions before I go out and buy a new CPU.
I am willing to listen to any suggestion you guys have and would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you!

By looking at this, you just completed building your pc and you can't get any display. (Sorry if I have misread your post)

It sounds more of a GPU or Motherboard problem to me.
Is your HDMI cable plugged into your motherboard? If so try plugging it into the GPU.
If your HDMI cable is plugged into your GPU plug it into your motherboard and see if there is any display.

When booting the PC do the fans spin at maximum speed?
If so this is an indicator of a faulty motherboard.

I did notice that when I booted up the PC the fans did spin up to max speed. Would another example of a faulty MOBO be that when I try to open the DVD drive that it closes almost immediately?
