So I built my first water cooling loop (CPU) last night and leak tested overnight. No leaks, it worked fine. I then disconnected the jumper and plugged the mobo power back in. Turned on the computer and it started up fine, no probs. Turned it off again and plugged the two cold cathode lights into my PSU. This is where I may have screwed up. The cold cathode inverter has two plugs: One female and one male molex. I plugged the male into a 4 pin passthrough (not sure if that would even work) and plugged the female into a male molex (both were connected directly into the psu) and turned on the computer. It started for a split second, then turned off. I removed the cold cathodes and tried again without them and same thing. I found that the USB on the mobo was very loose, plugged it in and tried agin, no luck. I then jumpered the mobo power to see If I had a dead PSU, and it was fine. I removed my gtx 780 and tried one lat time, no luck. Do I have a dead mobo, and if so, how did something on the psu kill the mobo?

Additional Info: When I jumper the power, just the pump and pump led are powered. When I plug in the mobo, everything except the water block leds and cold cathodes go on (fans, case lights, etc). The pump and pump lights are connected directly to the PSU. I would really appreciate help, I am feeling physically sick because of this :(
