Possible Failing GPU

Hey guys! Let me start by saying I’ve done much trouble shooting, and read over other threads to no avail.

My problems started with the latest windows 10 update. I ran update and shutdown a couple night ago. I booted up my pc the next day and it continued the update. However, halfway through the update, the my display started glitching. After the update finished, my primary monitor was completely glitches out, looked like a rainbow; the secondary monitor was fine.

I tried rolling back the update.
I tried reseating the card.
I wiped the driver with DDU, and reinstalled with no luck.
I tried different HDMI cables and different ports.
I reinstalled MoBo drivers.

Here’s the funny thing, it ONLY affect my primary monitor and it ONLY happens when the video driver is installed. No BSoD or system crashes otherwise.

If the nvidia driver isn’t installed, my monitor works perfectly fine, but as soon as the driver installs the issue happens.

Simple run down of my specs:
EVGA GTX950 (old)
AMD Ryzen 5 CPU
MSI b350m gaming pro MoBo
Windows 10 OS
8gb DDR4 ram

Basically I’m just looking for any last explanation before I buy a new card. Thank in advance.

Could be failing, but I would try an older video driver (like maybe from one of the August builds), sometimes W10 can be a pain right after new updates in my experience.

I thought of that as well. I tried to most recent driver, as well as a driver from a few months ago, same results.

Got it figured out. Had to run recovery to an older version of Windows.
