Hey guys just wondering if anyone has any ideas on this problem that i am encountering. (Not sure if this is the right section as i have not posted on this forum before)
When playing either Eve online or MW2, about 5-10 minutes into game play i get these small red squares showing up on my screen, about 2mm square and they fill the screen as the computer locks up. The computer remains locks up for around 5-10 seconds and then comes back to normal for another 5-10mins of game play and then the process repeats itself 2 times over where it eventually crashes and this shows up
Problem has been happening for the last 2 weeks, has also been getting worse and worse in the last few days.
The GPU is a Sapphire 4870 and the temp is at 60 idel and 70 while playing. So far i have updated the drivers but this hasn't helped any.

Gigabyte EX58 UD5
Corsair ddr3 ram 6gb
Sapphire 4870.
Windows 7 64bit
Any ideas guys? I have also pulled out the card and gave it a dust off and cannot see any scorch marks.
