I bought a gpu today off
someone who seemed fine on
text then when I went to get it
he looked a bit shady, he said
on the ad that it has some
issues such as flickering
sometimes and not booting
properly after heavy tasks,
then I expected it to be not a
big of a deal then when I went
onto install it as I got it, it
started flickering and colour
changing on the screen and it
looked chaotic, it then went
into a blue screen of death, I
then took it out and reinstalled
my gpu then my gpu started
bugging out and flickering like
the other gpu, I then switch to
the motherboard hdmi and
reinstall drivers for my gpu
then It started to work again
but I'm still worried if
somethings wrong. Is the gou he gave broken and he knew it was an he purposely sold it to me to scam me, it was a gtx 780ti and he sold it to me for £40, he also left and said good luck fixing it😉 and jt kind of seemed weird but ignored it, could he of put a virus into the gpu or it’s just dead and he sold it to me saying it works

You bought a video card that you were already told had problems you just paid 40 bucks for a life lesson.
EDIT with todays video card market even a old 780ti in good working condition could be sold for 200 bucks or more.
