Hi, I'm wondering whether I can upgrade to a RTX 3060 without making any changes to my existing other components.

Current Specifications:

CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-10400F @ 2.90GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz (16GB x 1)
GPU: Colorful GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER 4GB
MoBo: MSI B560M PRO-E
PSU: MSI MAG A550BN 550W 80+ Bronze
Case: Antec NX291

I prefer gaming @1080p resolution and I play all kinds of games.
I'm open to suggestions for a best match GPU for my current system.

Hey there,

Yeah, absolutely. You CPU is strong enough to drive most cards perfectly well, specially at 1440p and up. If you are gaming at 1080p, the CPU is still good, just that other newer CPU's will push a few extra FPS. Nothing to sweat about though.

Defo have to consider a new PSU to go with your GPU choice.

A RTX3070ti or 3080, would be overkill at 1080p but would guarantee you solid performance, and being able to max out any game graphical settins.
