Hi,
I've encountered weird problem, and I think it's possible from my HDD. It's new, I bought one month ago. Seagate SV35.5 500GB, partitioned into C, D, E.
It started 2 days ago when I opened Yandex Browser, it was weird. I couldn't write anything in address bar, all extensions were crashed, and everytime I clicked new tab it always like this (hours before the browser worked as usual):

Then I tried to install new version. But the installer stuck, not responding. And I heard some high-pitched beep like motherboard sound, but I'm not sure what was that. Then I stopped the installer with task manager.

So I scanned the program's folder with antivirus but the antivirus not responded too, and the high-pitch beep came again. PC froze a few seconds and I stopped the antivirus with task manager too. Here is the program's folder:

Then I checked with CrystalDiskInfo but it said my HDD is still good, and all green on HWInfo:

I'm confused. Any ideas?
The good news is, I've backed up my important data and the HDD is still under warranty.

can you not export your browser history and bookmarks etc? i would suggest that its yandex being an issue, not the hdd.
if your hdd was bad, your computer wouldnt work very well with every program, not just yandex.

un-install yandex. re-install it after a virus / malware scan
It's a russian internet browser, I've been using it for years & IMO I find it more useful (in certain things) than firefox & chrome (although occasionally I'm using FF & chrome too).
Other than the program itself, the folder contains my browsing history, tabs, bookmarks, etc.

Thanks, apparently it was software issue. I uninstalled it & reinstalled with new version, scanned it with anti virus, and the program back to normal again.

Although there is one thing that keeps me alert. Same thing happened two or three days before this Yandex problem. When I opened a radio streaming site in winamp's built in browser, I clicked a link and it opened in IE (I'm using Windows 7). Suddenly PC froze for a few minutes. I could move mouse pointer, but nothing clickable, then everything froze. After a few mins it back to normal again, then I closed IE.

Whether it was software issue or not, I don't know since there is nothing wrong with IE and Winamp.
