So I returned from an event in which I brought my desktop to. My only storage is a 1TB Mechanical Drive. After plugging my PC back in at my desk I turned it on. (I have Windows 8.1) It got to the loading screen with the windows icon and the loading circle. It sat there and then rebooted on it's own. Then it got stuck there again for about 10min before I manually restarted. It lasted there for a while again, before I rebooted a second time. This time it did Windows Disk Repair. It then booted into Windows normally. I checked my HDD status with Crystal Disk Info and it said it was good. Should any further action be taken?

Back up all important data on that drive to a different location.

After that, just keep an eye on it and try to avoid keeping critical data on the drive without having it saved somewhere else as well. It might not have been a drive related error, but for awhile it would be wise to treat the drive as suspect.
